The Metairie NASPA Scrabble Club #541 meets on Wednesdays between 5-8pm at Morning Call located at 5101 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124, just off exit 231A on the I-10.

The Metairie Scrabble Club is officially supported by NASPA (North American Scrabble Players Association) and has been running for over 30 years. There are currently numerous experienced tournament players in attendance who are more than happy to offer guidance to those that are looking to up their Scrabble game!

The Club also runs an after school Scrabble program at the Metairie Academy for Advanced Studies magnet school for students in second to fifth grade. The most promising students are selected and join a more competitive club to receive extra training to be part of a squad that travels to the annual North American School Scrabble Championships (NASSC) in Washington, DC. In NASSC 2025, out of 40 teams, all three of our teams finished in the top 10!
